Chelsee helps families to dream big about travel! And it’s not just hotel reservations and plane tickets. Instead, she gets to know each family member and listens to their ideas. She wants to make sure that everyone has the best trip possible. In planning, Chelsee takes care of all the details. That way, when her clients take off on their life-changing adventure, they can focus on meeting people, learning about a different way of life, and experiencing something new!

What is your “why” for doing what you do for family travel?

If we want to make an impact on our children and instill values like gratitude, resilience and curiosity, there is no greater method than travel. I am so passionate about helping families see and experience the world in a way that changes them and leaves them with lifelong memories.

Who is your ideal customized family travel client?

I love working with intentional parents. Parents who see the gift travel will be to their children—and want to make the most of it.

What makes you different from other family travel designers?

I don’t send you on a pre-packaged trip. I take time to get to know who you are and what is important to you in your travels. That way we create a trip customized to each and every person in the family. 

​​Tell us something fun, quirky, or weird that you’d like our readers to know about you?

I love to TRAVEL, surprising huh? When I’m not traveling or planning to travel, we are spending time together as a family. We are usually checking out the newest restaurant, attending a soccer game or Taekwondo class for our kids, or simply enjoying each other’s company. 

Who inspires you?

My friends inspire me. I think it’s such a gift to have people in your life that you can look up to. We help each other to be our best and to keep trying. And we give each other grace when it’s needed. 

What is your big scary dream?

To take my kids to as many countries as possible in my lifetime. I want to see them experience the world with fresh and wonder-filled eyes. I truly can’t wait for each adventure.

Is there one person or thing that you attribute your success to?

I have a mantra I learned from Brendon Burchard at a conference long ago. It’s “I believe in my ability to figure things out.” It keeps me going. And it’s something I have always told myself whenever things get hard, or I feel like I can’t do something. Instead, I move forward and trust that I can figure it out.

What advice do you have for those on their entrepreneur journey?

Find your people. Being an entrepreneur can fill you with a lot of doubt, self-doubt and criticism from peers. When we have a group of people around us that we can be authentic with, things get easier, we get better, and business becomes more fun!
