We provide easy conversation starters at each event in order to remove the awkwardness among strangers. Because honestly, every woman who attends our events has a story worth telling.
That's why we provide an opportunity for it at each event! You deserve time away from the household duties and taking care of others. Our events are opportunities for you to take workations, write the expense of the trip off, work ON the business, but—just as important—to allow yourself time to dream, have fun, relax, smile until it hurts, dress up in your favorite outfit, and make everlasting memories with wonderful people.
We hone in on the power of intimate collaboration among like-minded women. This isn’t a conference or just another girlfriend’s getaway. It’s a life-changing experience that will level up your business.
It was created out of a need for authentic community. You’ll quickly learn that the heart of SOWBO is all about serving YOU… not us. We believe in you. This isn’t some selfish endeavor—this is about empowering real women to overcome the hardest obstacles, passionately pursue deep callings, make real change in the world, live a life of fulfillment, and do so together.
Due to the various dietary restrictions of our audience, meals are not included. However, we do provide basic breakfast (fruit, yogurt, coffee, granola bars) and lunch snacks (chips, sliders, fruit salad) that you are welcome to indulge in. We generally break for 90-minutes for lunch and end sessions early enough for individual dinner plans. We strategically place our events locations nearby affordable meal options – within walking distance or a short Uber-ride away. The Friday Farewell Party is a pizza party and we include both regular and gluten free options. Salad will be available for a dairy free option.
Staying in Carillon Beach is not required, but highly recommended due to the schedule, accessibility, and community atmosphere.
We can book your accomodations for you for an added fee or you can simply book your place yourself. Many attendees appreciate that we coordinate the shared housing, but others want their own space. Whichever your prefer is fine with us, but our deadline to arrange housing is usually around October 1st each year. We have a housing coordinator on our team that assists with the process. We have long-term relationships with many homeowners and property managers in the area .
Our goal is to have anywhere from 15-30 women business owners in attendance. Actual size depends on ticket sales.
Yes, all active and current VIP or Insider members at time of ticket purchase will receive a discount. Insider members receive 10% off and VIP members receive 20% off.

Our events are for existing business owners who have been an entrepreneur for at least one year. Though your current business venture may be new, your experience in owning a business must be beyond a year. Most attendees have been successful entrepreneurs for 5+ years. Annual revenue benchmarks vary from $50k-$1M+. Both product- and service-based business types are welcome.
What binds our community is the heart of the entrepreneur. The female entrepreneurs attending our event are kind, gracious, humble, and generous. They want to reach new heights in business while also maintaining health, relationships, and purpose. Read our member pledge here.
We specifically place our events in attractive areas in hopes that you’ll spend time exploring! You’ll have free time each evening to take adventures. Feel free to come a day early or stay through the weekend in order to soak up plenty of time in the city. We’ll provide a list of our favorite spots upon arrival!
Tickets for this event are set up to be paid in full upon booking. However, we can be flexible with a 50% non-refundable deposit if needed. The remaining portion can be paid with smaller, customized payments. The event must be paid in full no later than one month prior. Email us to request your payment plan.
If we are coordinating your housing for you in a shared home, then it is likely that you will share a room and/or bathroom with a fellow attendee. We provide an "upgrade" opportunity just before the event in order to lock in a secured private bedroom, but the options for this are limited and based on the housing plan. If you desire your own private space, then it is best for you to book your own accomodations. The Carillon Resort Inn might be the best option!
We are confident that you will leave our events with new friends, a greater understanding of business strategies, and action steps or plans for how you can implement the learned material. Just like any event, you get out what you put in. Come to our events prepared to have conversations, learn, and use the designated time to make plans. Due to the limited seating and detailed planning for each attendee, refunds are not available. Should you book your event ticket and not be able to attend, then please email ASAP so that we can ship you your gifts and availability of virtual options if possible. Note: virtual attendance will not include community building time.
The event will follow any current COVID guidelines mandated by the local government. Should a limit of group gathering be enforced by the State at the scheduled event time, then we will comply. Some presenters will participate in remote sessions in order to reduce risk. Attendees are encouraged to attend in person. Email us with any questions regarding COVID concerns.
