In January, SOWBO hosted our annual Business Planning Retreat at Carillon Beach in Florida. SOWBO’s business planning retreats bring together like-minded, high-achieving women from all over the United States. Using proven planning methods in both group and individual sessions, we efficiently and effectively map out the next 12 months and create a detailed action plan.
We put aside our day-to-day responsibilities for four days to focus solely on our next steps in business. Planning, brainstorming, and collaborating with other business owners helped each of us feel less overwhelmed, burned out, and lonely. We left energized and inspired.

We spend a lot of time preparing for our retreat and creating intentional conversation moments. Our content is structured in such a way that attendees showcase their heart early-on—allowing them to make a more vulnerable connection before we talk about money, strategies, and other important business concepts.
Our goal for each event is for the women to leave with new friends who they can continue the journey with. We offer a platform for accountability and continued community even after the event is over which makes the continued friendship even easier!
